Wine for Two - Glasses Holder

I have reviewed quite a few children’s products during the Budget Christmas Challenge, but not as many adult items. This review and giveaway is for those of you shopping for a difficult adult gift. Uncommon Goods sent me a wonderful gift set for wine lovers and has graciously offered to giveaway a set for a lucky reader. Uncommon goods has some fun stocking stuffers, gifts for wine lovers, and gift ideas for this holiday season.

The first thing I received was the recycled wine bottle platter. It retails for $20 and is made of recycled glass (I love that part!). A spreader was also included. Out of the three items the platter was my least favorite, but it makes a great addition to the group of gifts.

The second thing I received was a fondue for two set. It also retails for $20. I loved this fondue set! It is just large enough for two people and, since a regular candle can be used to heat it up, it is quick and easy to use. Our other fondue set requires a larger heat source.

The third item in the gift set is a Wine for Two Glasses Holder. This item also retails for $20. It is beautiful! Really, beautiful doesn’t even go far enough. It is handmade from a retired French Oak or American Oak wine barrel stave. The color is gorgeous and the way it displays the wine glasses is unique. If I had to choose one of the three items to give as a Christmas gift I would choose this one. My only complaint is that it did not come with a picture or directions. I ship my gifts and without an explanation I do not think many people would figure out how to put the glasses on the holder.
