I used to do a ton of these and it is a good way to make a little extra cash if you have the time. Fill out a survey and they send you $1 paypal. Do one or a few every time you get a chance. It is called Dollar Surveys so if you get a chance sign up and see what surveys are available for you! You do not have to wait for a minimum payout.

I had trouble with this.
Signed up and went thru about 4 offers before I qualified, then after spending about 45 mins answering one, it said I was 2% completed. (I type fast too!)
I didn’t like that it wanted all kinds of personal info (my race, income, household members, etc…) Even tho they said they were “only going to use it to be able to notify the winner) in order to enter their sweepstakes, which I didn’t want to enter anyway, but it wouldn’t let me go on to the survey unless I completed it.
Is this normal?
The surveys I answered only took me 5-15 minutes, but they do all ask about your personal info (at least the ones I signed up for did).
Heidi, thanks for the reply. My concern with the demographics was that it was for a SWEEPSTAKES, and that they said they only wanted the info “so they could notify the winner.” It wouldn’t let me off the page either.
Thanks for the info on the length of the time it usually takes to complete them. That’s much more reasonable!
Hmm, that is odd. Usually they give you an option to exclude yourself from a sweepstakes if they are asking for personal info so I’m not thrilled that they are not giving you an option. I’m not a fan of entering sweepstakes either (although I love blog giveaways!)
They let me do enough surveys to get hooked and wont let me try anymore..:( but the paid promptly til then.
Interesting, at least they paid until then! I don’t get many from them – my demographic must be overly represented.

Dollar Surveys site is not at all as great as it used to be. Your always filling out forms and qualifying questions and then find out that you don’t qualify. Your right it used to pay well but now it constantly eliminates in order not to pay as far as I’m concerned. It used to be my favorite site but I’ve dropped them, gone back and now dropping them again-this site is just a waste of time and emails!
That’s my problem with Dollar Survey 🙁 They are good, then a pain, then good again. I don’t use them anymore.
