Yesterday I told you about the wonderful Frugal Mom’s Group and showed you my printable food coupons page. Today I would like to show you my other new page on very frugal recipes.
Using very frugal recipes is a great way to eat healthy on a budget. I have posted quite a few very frugal recipes in the past, but they tend to get lost on the page. Now they are all in one location! I split the recipes into a few different categories: dinner, breakfast, desert, and misc.
I added a new section to the very frugal recipes page called very frugal ingredients. In it I go over 8 foods that every frugal kitchen should always have on hand. If you do not have a very frugal recipe then you can always create something using these ingredients. Not all of them can be bought with a coupon, but they are still necessary.
Of course, since this is a Frugal Mom’s page, I also give you some great links to other very frugal recipe pages! There are lots of options for every meal (there is even an entire page on kid-friendly recipes).
If you are looking for more very frugal recipes (and do not want to always be tied to the computer) then be sure to take a look at the magazine Every Day with Rachael Ray. There are some great frugal recipes in every issue. If you purchase a subscription through Amazon right now you will spend $15 for a year or $20 for two years. The one year subscription is an auto renewal. I love recipe magazine subscriptions because they give you great ideas (plus they actually inspire me to cook!). I think it’s the pictures. Although, my own creations never seem to look like the magazine pictures (they still taste great though).
Be sure to read my page on very frugal recipes!
