Zaycon Foods – My Review

I recently had the opportunity to review chicken from Zaycon Foods and I was thrilled with the process. Zaycon is starting to deliver in Missouri so those of you in the area are in luck. They are hosting a giveaway for 40 pounds of FREE chicken so keep reading and make sure you give it a shot.

The experience with Zaycon was wonderful. The chicken was delivered to my house by a refrigerated truck. It is fresh (never frozen)! It comes in 40 pound boxes and you have to purchase that amount to get the deal. It comes out to $1.59/lb (boneless/skinless chicken breast). As soon as I received it I separated it into serving sizes, put the chicken we would soon be using into the fridge, cooked some so I have “easy” chicken strips to add to salads and pastas, and froze the rest.

Did you know that frozen chicken is often times injected with salt water to make it plumper and heavier (especially the boneless/skinless breasts, which tend to be the most expensive)! When you defrost it it “deflates”. I love that this chicken is not frozen!

I love that it is fresh and the price is great. I am thrilled that Zaycon will be coming to Missouri and I hope you guys get the chance to try them out! They announced the event date on July 14th when I was on vacation so this is quick notice, but don’t let that stop you! This is a great opportunity to get fresh, cheap chicken from a reputable company.

You must order by the date listed!!! Head over to the Zaycon Foods website and register to place an order there. They have driving directions on the site (you will pick up the chicken there).

The chicken comes fresh directly from the farm to the savings event and has never been frozen. It is 100% natural, boneless, skinless chicken breast. It is only sold in 40 pound portions so be ready to divide it after your purchase (or split the order with friends). The case costs $63.60. Zaycon Foods has a warranty and works very hard to keep customer satisfaction 100%.

There are a few Missouri Events happening next week. Many require an order by Monday so hurry! Orders are accepted until the close date or until it is sold out. If you order and you win the giveaway your chicken will be free. If you win and do not order then you will have a credit in your account for next time.
