I LOVE your match-ups. Of all of the ones I studied this week, this scenerio was the only one that had the first transaction being a freebie: The Physicians Formula. SMART, SMART, SMART! (Less $ OOP right from the beginning is the best!)

I was so-o-o-o disappointed when I got to CVS and the least expensive PF they had was $6.29 though! I left, frustrated, but went back later to a different CVS & ended up doing quite well, similiar to your scenerios.

(3) Peanut Butter Snickers 99¢
(2) Phys Formula – $6.29
Blink Tears – $7.99

Used Qs and $3 ECB from last week

$4.61 OOP
Saved $24.38
Have $7.99 ECB for next time!

(My little girl wants the Sally Hanson Zebra stick on nails, so I know where the $7.99 is going!)

Thanks 🙂 I try to make sure my scenarios always have the lowest OOP! It’s all about that first transaction – the lower the OOP the easier it is to roll ECB’s into the next transaction (and from the previous week). It is frustrating that things can be so different from one CVS to another – especially if it is a picked over deal! I know exactly what Zebra nails you are talking about, LOL! I went through that phase a long time ago 🙂 They weren’t as good when I had them though – they would fall off after a couple hours.
