Every month I figure out exactly how much money I made online and I let you know! There are lots of ways to make money online, but you know that these methods will work.
How I made money online:
- $5 at IRazoo (amazon gift cards)
- $23.39 at Mr. Rebates (paypal)
- $25 at Swagbucks (amazon gift cards)
- $13.28 at Adgitize (paypal, advertisers make more)
=$86.67 (I also earned $20 from It’s Thoughtful, but that was a one time thing)
I am really impressed with IRazoo. I think it is easier to earn gift cards than Swagbucks (although I do earn more on Swagbucks, but that is due to my referrals). I did not earn anything with Cashcrate or Ebates this month, though I do use both programs.
Blog Earnings
Blogging can earn you money. If you have questions on how to start a blog or how to make money blogging then be sure to check out my series on How to Make Money Blogging.
This month I made $862 with my blog. Keep in mind that a decent portion of that goes back into the blog (in the form of design, advertising, etc). But, still it isn’t too bad and if you have time I do recommend blogging.
My top five income streams this month were direct ads, AdSense, Escalate Media, My Savings Media, and Commission Junction.

Wow! I am tickled when I make any amount off of my blog. I do manage about $30/month with sponsored posts, but nothing compared to what you pull in. Do you have any recommendations on the best advertising options to help with this? I’m thinking keywords are one of my biggest downfalls, but no specific niche and consistency in posting are my worst offenses.
I LOVE Escalate Media! I am just getting into keywords – that has not (and still isn’t) one of my strong points. I am hoping to get better with it though.
I’ll send you an email Anne 🙂
You go, girl! Have you looked into advertisers for your site? That has faired to be one of our biggest revenue pulls.
Direct ads are always my top income stream. I’d love to hear your tips – I’ll send you an email 🙂
I’m totally impressed Heidi! And you gave me a few more ideas of sites to look in to. Thanks for the post!
You’re welcome, I’m glad to help!
I have been following this series! You are very inspiring!
Thanks Barb 🙂
It’s cool that you do this post every month- great info for readers and bloggers alike!
Thanks!
Great job for February, Heidi! January and Feb are always my lowest earning months, I think because I back off from the holidays. It seems to go in cycles for me.
My lowest season is Mar-June so I am heading into a “dry” spell. It definitely cycles! My highest season is Oct-Dec.
congratulations on your blog earnings. I have definitely noticed that my site earnings tend to go up every year. It’s kind of a slow build up when you are trying to make money with blogs. But, generally they seem to trend upward. You also picked a great niche by focusing on finance 🙂
Thanks Ross 🙂
Hi, I found that very interesting. I?ll be back to check in with your webpage again. Awesome Info
