Making Money Online – January

Each month I post how I made money online so you can try the systems that are working for me. There are lots of ways to make money online if you want to put in the time.  I do not do many online survey sites anymore, but if you would like to try one out then I recommend Inbox Dollars. I haven’t tried them yet (although I may give them a shot in February, they are offering a $5 bonus when you sign up right now).

Here are the programs I earned money with in January:

For those of you who are bloggers my top income streams this month came from:

  • My Savings Media (this is a good program for coupon blogs)
  • Escalate Media (my FAVORITE – excellent program! Great affiliate managers and offers)
  • Adgitize (you will make more if you also advertise with them -  I always make more than the advertisement costs)
  • AdSense, Direct ads, Commission Junction, and Amazon.

Programs that I do use, but did not provide income this month include Ebates, Cashcrate, and IRazoo.

Ebates only pays every three months (and only if you have earned at least $10 in your own rebates). Since I rarely shop online it tends to take me quite a while to earn $10 in my own rebates. I’m pretty close to getting a check from

Cashcrate and they are offering a few offers where you can get points to ask for freebies so I will definitely take advantage of that this month.

I just need to claim my IRazoo points. It is easy to get $5 a month from them and there is a good chance you can get $10 (but I do need to log on in order to claim my prize, which will probably be an Amazon gift certificate).

Are there any programs you use that I missed?

Do you do any online surveys? I know some of my readers do that and make money, but I’ve never tried it.

I used to do a ton (when I was in college) and I made an okay amount. It was a great amount for a college kid doing something after midnight, LOL! You can fit it anywhere in your day that you want. Now if I have free time I am usually blogging so I do not do many of the survey sites. I do still like Nielson though!
