CVS Deal Scenario:

If you need the Prilosec or the cat food then that is a really good deal and I would take advantage of it. I would also check to see if your CVS carries the TMF Physician Formula makeup (if they do then you are essentially getting a free $7 ECB). The scenario below does not include any of those since they are “maybe’s” for most people.

Transaction #1 =3 Kellogg’s Special K Cereals. Spend $5.66 after using the coupons listed in the match and you will get a $4 ECB.

Transaction #2 =2 Aussie Shampoo/Conditioner/Stylers, 2 Ragu. Use a $1 Ragu coupon and the 2 Aussie coupons listed in the match along with the $4 ECB from the previous transactions. You will spend $0.31 and get a $2 ECB.

Transaction #3 = 2 Ragu, 4 Skippy, and Lipton. Use a Ragu coupon, 2 skippy coupons, and a lipton coupon along with the $2 ECB from the previous transaction. You will spend $7.36 and get a $5 ECB back.

You will end up:

  • Spending $13.33 (use your ECB’s from last week to bring this total to $0)
  • Purchasing 3 Kellogg’s Special K cereals, 4 Ragu sauces, 4 jars of Skippy peanut butter, and Lipton tea
  • Leaving with a $5 ECB that you can spend on anything you want (or save for next week)
