We are getting to the end of the year, which means both my Christmas thoughts and my first of the year organization thoughts are starting to merge! Seriously, I am at my most organized in January and by December things are starting to come unglued. Now I have a few weeks to get it organized again.
So in my quest of making things easier and more organized I found Recipe Nut and Mamapedia.
Recipe Nut is pretty neat. You can find and store recipes from anywhere on the net. You can even send them to people. You can also sign up for their e-newsletter which contains coupons and recipes. It’s a pretty easy sign-up or you can sign up with your facebook account. Well worth a shot. If you like it you could save yourself a lot of time and energy re-finding recipes (or is it just me who keeps them in my “favorites” folder and then can never find them again).
Mamapedia is my second favorite new site. They just added a “daily deals” section, where you can get up to 90% off local deals, but what I found most interesting about the site was their forum type questions in the right sidebar. You can ask or answer questions and the most popular ones are at the top. Some were controversial, some were just everyday mom type things, but they were all interesting. They had some great posts as well. I will definitely be keeping an eye on that site!
I hope you find them as helpful as I did!
