Last month was great for new deals! I decided to post the top five from last month (that are still available). If you were not one of the many people who put the offer into the top five then take advantage of it while you can!
Synovate – This is a product testing group looking for new members. It is free to join and takes a name and email to get started. They send you products (usually full sized) and you let them know what you think about it. They might ask you questions about the packaging, marketing, or product itself. You keep the product and sometimes get other prizes for participating. It is worth a try.If you do not like it then you can always stop, but if you do like it then you will get free products for as long as you continue the program.
Apperang – This is one I am super excited about! If you have an iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad then you can sign up for Apperang and get paid for downloading apps. You will get $0.25 for downloading free apps and slightly over the cost of the app for the paid ones. It is easy to see why this was the second most popular offer last month!
2Insure4Less – I check my insurance rates once per year in September and this is the service I recommended to use this year. I ended up saving $546 this year! Use this service to compare rates and then use those rates to either sign up for a new service or as information to try and lower your rates with your current company. You should always compare rates at least once per year (some advisors recommend every 6 months). If you haven’t compared rates lately then you are probably costing yourself a few hundred dollars.
Dailyworth – This is a personal finance newsletter for women only and it is one of my favorites. It’s completely free and only takes an email to sign up. The tips are great!
Dunhill Travel Newsletter – Signing up for this free newsletter also gets you a $100 coupon off your next vacation through Funjet. It is worth signing up so you have the coupon if you ever want to use it. The newsletter has many vacation deals so it is easy to combine the coupon with an already great discount.
There it is, the top five deals for October, ranked by the number of people who took advantage of them in September. Most do require an email address. I have a separate email (setup with hotmail) so I can take advantage of deals and not crowd my nor3mal inbox. Plus, it is fun to log into a separate account to see all of the new great deals.
