Free Airfare and Office Supplies at Office Max!

This deal will work through September 18th, but I would do it quickly in case everything goes out of stock! The free companion airfare ticket may or may not be a good deal depending on what prices are available for the first ticket, but it is free so if there is a chance you can use it then give it a shot! It is an easy deal, just follow these steps (if you right click on the links you can open a new page so you can refer back to the steps):

STEP ONE: If you have not signed up for a MaxPerks Awards account then do so here.  It will ask if you buy office supplies primarily for business or school needs.

STEP TWO: Go to Ebates and use their link into Office Max. If you have not signed up for Ebates then do so. You will get an additional $5 back if you are a new member.

STEP THREE: Purchase $150 in items that are free after MaxPerks Awards. Here are your choices:
-Liquid Paper Correction Line $6.29 (limit 6)
-Sharpie Twin Tip Fine and Ultra Fine Markers, 4 pack $8.29 (limit 6)
-Sharpie Twin Tip Colored Markers, 4 pack $8.29 (limit 6)
-10 Ream Case of paper $39.99 (limit 3, you will only get $30 in rewards for this one)

To get the closest buy a ream of paper, 6 liquid paper correctors, 5 black sharpie packages, and 4 colored sharpie packages. That will be $152.34.

STEP FOUR: Checkout using the code FLYFREE.

Your out of pocket cost will be $152.34. You will get $4.57 back via your ebates account ($9.57 if you are a new member).  You will also get $142.34 back in MaxPerk Awards (you can use these on anything at Office Max, including other free after MaxPerks items in order to “roll” them) and the free companion air ticket. After the rebate and MaxPerk awards are figured in you are paying $0.43 for everything!

**Bonus – if you purchase more school supplies than business and sign up for the school/teacher MaxPerks account then you will get an additional $20 in awards ($10 for every $75 that you spend) making this a moneymaker!

The companion ticket is only for the Continental United States, so this isn't a good deal for those of us in Alaska.

Where are the details for the flight?

There are 19 participating airlines and 110 participating cities (it is good only in the continental US). Go to this site to see the FAQ's:

Great, thanks! How soon will we get our tickets after ordering, do you know?

The companion ticket code will be sent to your email within 30 days of your purchase. You use that to buy the tickets (which have normal ticket rules timeline wise)

What airlines are eligible?

The last time I used them most of the major airlines were included. You can't see them until you get the ticket though. There are 19 airlines available.
