Interview with Diane from Me, Him, and the Cats

I found a lot of great blogs when I ran the How to Make Money Blogging series. Diane blogs at Me, Him, and the Cats and agreed to a blogging interview. Here is what Diane had to say about her blog:

How long have you been blogging? For a little over a month

Where do you get your inspiration? I’m not embarrassed to admit that I always have conversations with myself in the car about random stuff. Some of that ends up being a blog post. Other posts are about things that affect me directly like different family events and general day to day life. Other stuff I write about is just stuff I find that I think others may be interested in like deals, free samples or contests.

What do you blog about? I am just starting to get involved with companies doing reviews, which I never thought I would be approached for. I also blog about contest, deals and day to day things that occur in my life.

What is the toughest thing about blogging? I work three 12 hour shifts every Thursday, Friday and Saturday so those days It is tough for me to find time to do posts. Sometimes by Monday I am still sorting through my email!

What do you recommend for other bloggers? I definitely recommend participating in various blog hops. I find a lot of interesting blogs to follow and get followers back. Also linking my blog feed to twitter and facebook helps to alert followers to new posts as soon as they go up instead of waiting for the email.

Do your friends/family support your blogging? They sure do! They all have their own hobbies, mine is blogging

What made you start blogging? I first started reading blogs when I got into couponing. After reading mostly blogs about being frugal, I started finding great blogs about peoples personal life. Eventually I found myself writing blog posts about my own life and in my head on my long drives to and from work. Eventually I decided that I needed to just take the plunge and start my own blog.
