Giveaway – The Quilt Ladies

Beth Ann Strub has written a series 12 books, called The Quilt Ladies Collection.  She used to sell them at craft sales, but is now reaching out with a quilt ladies blog and etsy site to sell them to all of us.

Beth has been selling The Quilt Ladies books for ten years.  Here is what her website has to say about the books:

The Quilt “Ladies” Collection is an ongoing set of books that follow the lives of five wonderful ladies, who become friends over quilts. Each book continues the story and each book has complete quilt instructions and patterns for the quilts featured in that book. The Quilt “Ladies” Collection has a total of twelve titles to date.

Beth sent me the first three books to review and I am in love!  They are great, wholesome stories and the quilt patterns that are included are beautiful.  They are great for those of you who quilt already, but they are also wonderful for those of you who have thought about quilting.  The story and the matching pattern might just help push you into action.

I definitely recommend these for gifts.  It would be top on my suggested Christmas gift list if this weren’t April!  It is unique, useful, and supports a work at home mom.  If you have a birthday or a MOTHER’S DAY gift that you have not purchased yet then this would be a thoughtful and unique gift.

Giveaway!!  All you have to do is one or more of the following.  Leave a separate comment for each thing that you do (each will be an additional entry).  The lucky winner will get a quilt ladies book of their own.  Good luck!

  • First, head on over to the Quilt Ladies site and tell me which of the 12 books sounds like the one you would enjoy the most.  You must do this entry to qualify for the giveaway.  You can get extra entries by doing one or more of the following:
  • Subscribe to Little People Wealth via RSS or Email.  If you subscribe via email make sure you verify your address!
  • Follow me on Twitter
  • Promote this post (on your blog, twitter, or facebook)
  • Include Little People Wealth in your blog sidebar (button or blogroll)

The winner will be chosen on Friday May 7th.  The winner will have 48 hours to contact me with their information in order to claim the prize.

It was a hard choice, but I think that Book 10 "At Anytime" is my favorite choice.

I would love to start with book 1. We are getting ready to move and I think it is interesting to get new perspectives. As we pack up our lives it is sad to think about leaving our home that we've had for 7 years- taking a new step in our lives is both exciting and scary.

I'd like book 6 about the kids spending time on the Farm and the Ladies getting involved too. Reminds me of home and being outside in the Summertime on the farm. I'd most relate to this one probably.

I think book 7 sounds like one I would like, though, I'm sure I would like all of them. And I like starting at the beginning, so maybe I should have started with 1! Haha!
