Free Money with a College 529 Account

529 Savings accounts are a great way to save for you or your child’s education.  The savings are tax deductible.  You can save up to $2000 each year per child.  Time is on your side when you start saving early.  Setting aside only $25 a month for your child from birth to age 18 will become $12,000 at an 8% return.

You can even attach your UPromise account to the 529 for free money savings!

Right now you can get a bonus $25 for opening up a 529 account.  A beneficiary can have multiple accounts as long as the owners are different so you, your spouse, and grandparents can each hold an account for a child (or yourself) and each one can get a $25 bonus for opening it!  This is a referral only program so you must be referred to get the $25 (although you can open the account without the bonus).  If you want a referral then email me or leave a comment with your own email or address (depending on if you want the information via email or snail mail) and I will have it sent to you.

You can add more money in the future for tax free saving or you can just let it sit.  I opened my account six months ago and my initial $25 investment is now worth $55.68.  I will be opening another account for me (just in case) and the new baby under this program and I will probably have hubby do the same!

This offer ends June 30th.
