Low OOP Scenario (starting with $0 ECB’s) –

Yikes, slow week!  Especially since I decided to start keeping an ECB stash!  Oh well, there is always next week.  You can stock up on a few things, here is what I would do:

  • Transaction #1 – Crest/Oral B Toothbrush/Toothpaste and a 3 pack of Ivory.  You will spend $0.99 and get a $1 ECB.
  • Transaction #2 – Dulcolax.  Use the $1 ECB from the previous transaction.  You will spend $6.99 and get a $5 ECB.  You will also get $5 back via snail mail.
  • Transaction #3 – Feel free to use that $5 ECB on anything you want!

There you have it, you will spend $7.98 OOP (but $5 will come back via the snail mail rebate so your actual cash OOP will be $2.98).  You will end up getting a toothbrush or toothpaste, dulcolax, and $5 in anything you want.
