Win a $15 Gift Card from Save A Lot!

Save A Lot contacted me a while back and offered a $15 gift card so I could check out their store and see how much I could purchase with it.  I had never been in a Save A Lot before since I generally do not get their ads, but there is one in my area so I was happy to try them.

First, Save A Lot does have an online ad, which you can see here.  Right now they are featuring a Christmas Dinner for 4 for under $20!  You can use coupons, all available on their site, to get that for even less.

So what did I buy with $15 (well, actually I spent $16.70)...  You can see everything at my Weekly Shopping Total post, but here is a list:

Wow!  I must say it did surprise me.  Save A Lot is very coupon friendly.  They have a few places online where you can print out coupons for their store.  The biggest one available right now is for $5 off a purchase of $20.  You can use that to get the advertised Christmas Dinner for only $14.31!  It includes ham, sweet potatoes, salad and dressing, mac and cheese, vegetables (corn, green beans, or peas), pineapple (for the ham), rolls, and an apple or cherry pie.

They also have manufacturer and store coupons available here.  There are 20 coupons available right now, including a $1/3 Lipton side dishes (priced at $0.99 so you can get them for $0.65 each) and $0.50 off butter (priced at $0.99 so it will only be $0.49!).

Remember that Christmas Dinner that they are advertising for $19.31, well... there are coupons available for that as well.  You can use the $5/$20 along with a B1G1F Salad Dressing, $0.40 off the mac and cheese, $0.50 off 4 of the vegetables, and $1 off the pie!  After using those your new total will be $13.40 and you will have 2 more cans of vegetables and an extra bottle of salad dressing (compared to the ad).
