Amazon has some great deals all year round, but they really kick it up a notch during the Holiday season. The best way to prepare for that is to have a stash of Amazon gift cards ready to go! The nice thing about earning gift cards for Christmas is that you can use them on anything (and sometimes older children can be picky about what they get for Christmas!)

I have two sites that I love to use to earn Amazon gift cards:

Swagbucks - Swagbucks offers "swagbucks" when you use their search engine. There are other ways to earn the points, but that is the most reliable. Search in the AM until you get a swagbuck ($1-$5, on Fridays they have larger bucks available) and do the same in the PM. It takes less than a minute. At the least you will earn 1 for every search. When you get 45 you can trade them in for a $5 Amazon gift card. In one year you will earn $80 in Amazon cards if you follow the AM/PM method and are that unlucky person who constantly only gets one buck :)

IRazoo - IRazoo isn't as popular as Swagbucks, but it is just as easy! All you do is use their search engine. Every search gives you a chance to win instantly. After you search you can click on the results and give it a thumbs up or down (4 points) and write a quick review (another 4 points). I have found that it is easy to earn 100 points a day. 3000 points earns you an Amazon gift card (and you do have a chance of winning more with your searches). In one year you will earn $60 in Amazon cards not including the instant ones you win.

$140 may not seem like much, but look at the deals they post! It is enough to cross quite a few people off your list once you pair them with deals. And... it's all free :)
