Yummy Waffles for Cheap!

When I found the Organic Pancake Mix (plus syrup and some misc items) deal I jumped on it! I’m always looking for some yummy healthy breakfasts. I bought one set of the All Natural Apple Cinnamon Pancake Mix to try and it was delicious! It came out to $1.57 for each 24 oz bag of mix (there are 6 bags in the set).

I made pancakes with it when it first got here and they were delicious, but I thought that they would make wonderful waffles.

So today I was going through our kitchen and I found a waffle maker! LOL, I know it sounds odd that I would just find something like that, but it must have been a Christmas or maybe even a Wedding present from long ago! As far as I can remember we have never used it.

Of course, my son and I made waffles! It was fun for him and they were wonderful. I split the recipe in half and made 8 waffles. I made 16 pancakes earlier from the same package and I think there is enough in there for another half recipe. That means they cost a nickle a pancake/waffle!

I am going to try the blueberry ones (and maybe the buttermilk) too. I do not have them yet though. I can definitely recommend the Apple Cinnamon!
