Nothing this week! I was going to spend the rest of our September budget at Costco and Whole Foods, but my son came down with a fever and we ended up staying in and snuggling 🙂
I will have to go early this week and just transfer the budget to October (I keep track of my budget based on what month the Saturday falls on, so next week is actually October as far as my budget is concerned).

…I do our budget similar to that too…it is not exactly "monthly" my husband gets paid every 2 weeks…so there are 2 of my husbands pay periods in each "monthly" budget of our…i love it because once a year or so the budget works that we don't have to pay a mortage payment in that one budget cycle….it usually falls around the holiday season…so we use it for Christmas cash! Love it when i come in under budget…makes you feel really accomplished! huh!!

That's an awesome way to get Christmas cash 🙂 Great idea! I am going to be starting my Christmas stuff soon – I generally start in October, LOL. It seems early, but it makes things much easier.
I definitely think doing it that way is easier budget-wise. I used to forget to check everything, but now I know that if it is the last Sat in the month then it is time for the budget.
