Household Planner Giveaway!

I recently purchased a household planner from Tashia at The Household Planner and I had to share it with you! I have serious organizing issues (love to do it, just not very good) and this planner definitely exceeded my expectations.

You can create your own (purchase the printouts and then put them in the binder yourself) or you can go the super easy route like me and have the creation done for you. My planner included:
I knew it would include those items, I just didn't realize how useful they were! There is a household section that has a place for all your phone numbers, medical info, babysitter info, pet info, subscription lists, rebate lists, website login info, gift lists, and wish lists.

The daily planner section has a small reference calender, a larger one page month calender to list birthdays/important dates, to do lists, goals and projects lists, and of course the calenders and weekly planning info.

The household section has a household chore list - it even gives you suggestions! It also includes a home maintenance plan and weekly laundering plan.

There is also a meal planning section and a finance section.

Each section starts with at least one page describing what you can do with the information you now have. I was able to pick the color of my binder and the style of my planning section. It was cheaper than the planner I picked up at Target (and worlds better). The one I bought is catered toward moms so there is a lot of info in there for your kids as well.

When I received this I contacted Tashia to tell her how wonderful it was and she offered to do a giveaway for my readers! I tried to get some good pictures of mine, but I don't think my digital takes them well enough - I couldn't zoom in to the parts I was trying to see

GIVEAWAY!!!

Tashia has offered the Mom's or Women's Printable Planner. It is the exact product I bought except you will have to print it out and put it in the binder. If you are like me and you need help in the organization department then this is your answer!

not sure it's my best organization tip but it's been useful... I keep all my user manuals (fridge, stove, etc) under the silverware tray in the kitchen so they're always handy.

Best organization tool: we have a family meeting once a week for 30 minutes, during which my husband and I compare calendars, figure out who has the baby at what time, what we'll eat for dinner, etc. So helpful!

Her financial organizer is unbelievable! Talk about thinking of things I never would have. It's aesthetically pleasing too, not like a boring spreadsheet! I'd like the mom's planner if I win.

I've had lots of organization tips over the years, but really the best prevention one is to process everything daily--ie. when I get home from a shopping trip, I put everything away right away if I can. I process the daily mail at the garbage can & set in piles for different levels of the house. I try to fold laundry the day that it gets done. Library check-outs get put in their baskets as soon as we get home. If I can't get to something on the same day, I will go level by level (4 levels) in my house the next morning, decluttering along the way. It's so much easier to keep my house organized this way, instead of leaving everything for the weekend.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I, too, would love the women's planner. I have 17-year-old twins who could use some organizing and I think learning by example would be a super way to get them off to a good start for now and when they leave home. Sure hope I win! I am in much need of organizing. I think the financial planner/pages are super and something, especially during these times, could benefit from. Thans for another great site to visit.

By the way, I think using the 15 minute timer and getting things done in little chunks of time is a great organizing tool that I've using for a few months now. Surprising how much you can accomplish in 15 minutes!

The Phone Directory looks very helpful as having one place to place all of this useful information will help to save time instead of looking for all those pieces of paper you have placed in a spot where you will easily be able to find it :)

My best organizational tip is to USE PAPER. This might not work for everyone, but I simply can't use online organizational tools because they're too easy to avoid by avoiding the computer. A big calendar on the kitchen wall, though, and printed to-do lists on the fridge, are a lot harder for me to ignore!

Laura said...

I think the Household Information Forms would come in pretty handy!
