Fo’ Shizzle My Nizzle (one of the 175 fun and cheap activities for families, groups, and children that is in the book 175 Great Games)
This game requires no objects and four or more players.
The instructions are straight from the book:
The name of the game says it all – it is absolutely crazy and hilarious! Players sit in a circle. The object of the game is to pass specific noises around the circle while trying to get the person sitting next to you out. There are three specific noises made as the game progresses: 1) “Beep” 2) “Aaaahhhh” and 3) “Fo’ Shizzle My Nizzle.” Everyone initially starts on the noise “Beep”. When a player makes mistakes, they progress to the next noise.
Player one begins by saying “Beep” while bringing his right or left hand across his chest to point to the next person. Since he brings his hand across his chest he ends up pointing to the person on the other side of his hand. Player two can pass the noise in whatever direction she wants. She says “beep” as she points and passes the noise to the next person and so on.
The goal is to move the noise quickly without making a mistake. There are two ways to make a mistake. First, if a player is on the noise “Aaaahhh,” for example, and he mistakenly says, “Beep” then he must move on to the next noise. Secondly, if a player says her noise and points out of turn, she moves to the next noise. Mistakes happen because the noise moves around the circle and changes direction quickly, plus players intentionally try to throw people off. When a player makes a mistake on “Fo’ Shizzel my Nizzle” then that means it is his third mistake and he is out of the game.
The last two players receive a point and play continues until somebody scores 3 points to win!
There is also a variation of this game included in the book 🙂
