When do you Relist an Ebay Item? – Reader Question!

Time for another Reader Question 🙂 This one comes from Teresa. Teresa asks:

About Ebay, how do you know if it’s worth it to relist an item? And how many times should you try to sell the item?

The best way to determine if an item is worth relisting is to use mpire. Mpire can tell you if other people have been successful with selling the same item. If you notice lots of listings but no sales then don’t bother relisting it. If you notice that it has sold with other sellers then check their listing to see what the difference is. It could be the start price, the end time, pictures, or something else entirely. Change whatever is different between your listing and the one that sold and re-list.

You usually shouldn’t bother relisting unless there is something you can change. And, the most times I have ever re-listed an item is three.
