I am definitely a slow starter and a slow stopper. I’m surprised at the difference it makes. I also plan all my errands in an organized driving route.
make sure you change your oil when you are supposed to. I find that makes a huge difference.
We own one car and buy gas at the cheapest place in town. Original, I know:)

I try to really plan out my days errands so that I do everything in one trip and don’t back track. It helps me stay within my gas budget.
I keep the car maintained so that it will use gasoline efficiently. Oil changes, keeping your tires inflated at the proper pressure and tune-ups should never be neglected. Then I shop at Fry’s to get gasoline points that add up and give me $ .10 off on a gallon of gasoline. I use a rewards credit card to pay so that I get 5%back for those purchases.I always run my errands in an efficient circle and I make sure the car is kept clean of excess stuff so as not to add to the weight which will cost you more per mile. In the summer heat over 40 miles an hour, I leave the windows rolled up and use the A/C- this costs less than the drag from the windows. These are all the tings I do to save on gas!
Those are some great tips! I hope somebody who reads this blog gets in the finals at some point in the next 8 weeks 🙂 That would be so exciting!
