My Shopping Week Feb 1st – Feb 7th

I went to Costco, CVS, and HyVee this week! If you want to see the weekly deals for CVS or HyVee (with coupon matchups) then click on the store name. I don’t post them in my sum up posts!

CVS – $0

11 Burts Bees Items $2.75
-$24.75 off for clearance sale!

Excedrin 10 ct $2.49
-$2.49 in ECB’s

2 Stayfree Pads $3.99
-$4 ECB
-B1G1F coupon (-$3.99)

CVS Recycled Toilet Paper (12 rolls) $5.99
-on sale from $8.99

I paid with $15 in ECB’s and $0.24 on a CVS giftcard (I got $6.49 back in ECB’s)

=$0 for $46.98 in household supplies

For those of you who are new to my blog, I always count my OOP as my cost. That way I never double count ECB’s (some people count them when they earn and spend them) and I don’t feel bad if I have to spend them on something I need! If you are stuck on how much you “pretend” spend in ECB’s having to match the ones that print out then you will just end up with a huge stash of ECB’s you will never use! There will be weeks that you end up with many more ECB’s than you spend and weeks where you end up with less – it is pretend money, don’t worry about it!

Wow! Great deals. I’m really new to this, and am just getting the hang of clipping coupons and shopping at CVS and Walgreens. I’ve been amazed at the prices, esp. at CVS. Thanks for the help with my new journey with money-saving.

And… I’m going to have to check out our CVS for their Burt’s Bees. I love their products.

Goodness, girl! Where do you live, that milk is so expensive?

Thanks for doing this. I’m just starting with Walgreens, and your blog has been MOST helpful!

CVS is great for the couponer!

I am in KC – we used to drink skim milk, which wasn’t too bad. Then we switched to whole milk and it is $4.29 a gallon!!! Thank goodness for Costco 🙂

They sell milk at CVS too and I used to work it into my deals. But, I don’t really like the taste of the brand they go with. I’m a milk snob, LOL!
