September budget

Time for the end of the month tally! So my budget for household and food was $200. Here is what I ended up spending and saving!

Food: $227.68 for $146.46
$15.33 for free at Walgreens
$5.53 for $0.18 at CVS
$134.39 for $113.83 at Costco
$47.52 for $13.60 at Hyvee
$11.35 for $6.60 at Price Chopper
$13.56 for $12.25 at Nature’s Pantry

That is a 36% savings

Household: $351.20 for $6.74
$181.86 for free at Walgreens
$158.29 for $3.58 at CVS
$11.05 for $3.16 at Hyvee

That is a 98% savings

Overall I spent $153.20 (under budget) and I got $578.98 in items for an overall savings of 74%

Again great job! I was over budget 🙁 I still did pretty good though.

I noticed you like the Dresden Dolls, my husband and I saw them in concert with panic at the disco. What is your favorite song/album? I would like to check them out a little more.

I thought we would be over budget too after that big Costco trip! Not a great grocery savings this month, but we made it in under budget.

Wait til you see my KMart trip, LOL – it was AWESOME!!

I love the Dresden Dolls – I think their first album is my favorite. I love Coin Operated Boy and Half Jack. I like “Sing” too, but it seems different than their usual songs.

When I was preggo with DS he would jump around like crazy whenever I played “Girl Anacronism” LOL!!
