DH just bought a memebership today, against my wishes. We will be checking it out Sunday probably. What do you find has lower prices there than coupons combined with sales? We get wic so we don’t need dairy products.

We save a lot on organic food – that is probably the number one reason why I love Costco!

I have heard that their meat is a really good price, we don’t eat red meat at home though so I can’t give a personal experience with that one. If you have dogs then their food is a great bulk price and if you drink sodas/water/etc then you can get a great bulk price on those as well. I would get the Vitamin Drinks when I was pregnant and I could get them for $0.45 each and they were $1.29 each in the store. Not something I would get regularly, but a great pregnancy “splurge”

They send you a book of coupons every month and we will get some of the prepared meals with the coupons. They are higher than if you prepared from scratch – but on days that we both work they are easier and WAY cheaper than eating out of course. The potstickers, for example, came out $0.69 a serving so it is a pretty good meal for less than $2.

If you get their credit card you will get 1% back and you can use your membership number to get $25-$85 back from sharebuilder – that paid for our membership easily 🙂 The credit card depends on how you feel about them – but the sharebuilder deal is just straight up free money 🙂

wow, thanks for giving so much detail! I had to check and see what you had to say b4 going there. I will definitely give the potstickers a try. I think they are 10 at the reg store.
