So I took a box to Children’s Orchard again. I only got $7 – they really didn’t take much (maybe 6-7 pieces). The store has so much in it that I think they just take a few pieces from everybody. All the moms were walking out of there with their sacks/boxes still full. I can’t blame them, if it isn’t selling there is no reason to keep stocking up!!
I took cash instead of store credit ($10.50). We stocked up on summer clothes for DS at JC Penny – they had all their clothes marked down to $1.99!!!!!! They are so cute too. I was going to get store credit if she offered me at least $27 because there was this adorable little boys tux for $32 that I figured would look great for my brother’s wedding. I have $5 there already. Since she only took 1/20th of what was in my box that wasn’t really an option 🙁
I guess I should sell it on ebay. I used to sell a ton on there, but I haven’t been on since they raised the fees and made it difficult for the “little guy”. I could hold another garage sale…
What do you do with your clothes that your DS/DD grow out of? I do give some to charities, some to friends/family. I would really like to get some of my money back too so I can get the next size! What are your suggestions?
