Refund Cents

Refund Cents

Time for another site review! I tried this site about three months ago (I signed up for the three month subscription for $4). I do not generally like to recommend paid sites but I am definitely keeping my subscription to refundcents. A yearly online only subscription is $12. I can find all the information on walgreens and cvs elsewhere – but it is usually cluttered with ads and is in multiple locations (especially hard for a beginner). This site has easy to read updates for all the deals at CVS, walgreens, and rite-aid each week (matched with coupons). The site also has online deals posted, a coupon database (that includes online and blinkie coupons), and information on more rebates then I ever knew existed. I love throwing a rebate item in my CVS or walgreens purchase so I get back cash for nothing! I made up my subscription cost tenfold.

This is also the site where I got my information on how to get started mystery shopping. Their centsible chat section alerts me to deals before most of the other boards and gives “real” experiences with it. I haven’t tried their for sale or trade boards yet – maybe later.

You CAN get most of the information from a combination of other free sites. But, this site is cheap and it is ad free and in one location. That is worth $1 a month to me. For a beginner, this will make it much easier.

I haven’t tried their print magazine. I am more of an online type of person, I hate the clutter of magazines and paper. If you like to sit and read/mark your stuff in a magazine then that might be for you though!

The subscription cost is the following:

Print Magazine + on-line access:
one year $25
six months $14
three months $8

On-line only access:
one year $12
six months $7
three months $4
