I went to the organic store today so it is much harder to save money. The food is great though and I am doing well on my food budget so far so I figured I could “splurge”. I meant to get more but it turned out that the ad ended yesterday! Oops. The prices in RED are after my coupons and sales. Here is what I got:
2 Boxes of White Cheddar Rice Crackers $5.78 – $1.20 sale = $4.58 $3.12 for two
Cheddar Almond Crackers $2.69 – $1 sale = $1.69 $1.52
Dr. Bronners TTO liquid $12.29 $11.06
Pomegranite/Lime juice $3.19 – $0.80 sale = $2.39 $2.15
Tomato/Basil pasta noodles $1.69 $1.52
Boysenberry spritzer $0.99 $0.89
2 Cans soup $6.88 – $1.60 sale = $5.28 $3.75 for two
Avocado $1.19 $1.02
1/2 lb long grain brown rice $0.98 $0.88
=$32.70
Coupons used:
$1 off 2 Nature valley products (soup)
$1 off 2 Back to nature crackers
10% off “super” day ($3.11)
Total = $27.59
16% savings not including sales, 30% including the sales, not bad for an organic store 🙂
I need the Dr. Bronners to make our laundry detergent. It will last a few months though. The spritzer was a last minute purchase. I meant to get some dinner items, but I passed on them since they were no longer on sale.
